  1. I don’t understand this painting, can’t say I like it. But after having studied Chinese brush painting, I love looking at all the variations a skilled artist can do with brush and ink on rice paper–the thick and thin, the dark and light, the twists and turns.

      I don’t understand it, too, but it’s calming in real life. Since it’s a digital painting, all the strokes will melt and then reshape.
