Thanks for putting Mimi Lee Cracks the Code in thi Thanks for putting Mimi Lee Cracks the Code in this stack! Happy reading, @wonderwomandbookish!

Posted @withregram • @wonderwomandbookish Monthly wrap up of books that I read in May. Wish I could say that I finished all of these books. From that stack of books, I managed to finish ONE book. I’m almost finished with the Rector Dan cozy mystery novel. I started reading the other four books. I won the Ellen Crosby novel in a giveaway from @jungleredwriters

On the other hand, I finished reading the ebooks in the next two slides.

📚SUMMER READING @mckinlayjenn

Opposites attract or are they opposites? A dyslexic chef and a bookish librarian fall in love. Loved the witty repartee between the characters.

BEER AND LOATHING
@ellie_alexander

📱 Garrett’s parents and sister are visiting Leavenworth. Meanwhile there is a team of doctors and a medical research group descending on the German themed town. There is a snowstorm. Sloan Krause is meeting the family for the first time. Her son is about to go to college. Alas, there is a murder. Lots of suspects and red herrings. Wonderful read as usual.

THE BUTTERFLY CAGE
By Rachel Zemach

📱 Finished reading this on my Apple ebook. Well written and perspective. Powerful read. This is a memoir written by a teacher about teaching in the public schools. Highly recommend this memoir.

Still reading the other books….
Yay! Happy to be included in the Camp Spooky reada Yay! Happy to be included in the Camp Spooky readathon. Thanks, @fictionalfrights!

Posted @withregram • @fictionalfrights I’m participating in #campspookyreadathon this summer and here’s my June TBR! ⛺️

Campy Spooky is a readathon that runs through the whole of June, July and August and is hosted by @book__skywalker and @moonlight_bookclub - there is a prompt for a book each month and then a bingo board of 16 other fun prompts to try and complete! (As well as a bingo board of activities to do too if you fancy, all boards will be in my highlights) 🖤

June Prompts I’m fulfilling with this stack:
• A book set at a summer camp (the June prompt)
• A book by a debut author
• A book set in winter
• A book featuring paranormal elements
• Cosy mystery vibes
• A monster / creature story

📚 p.s. The Honeys and Moon of the Crusted Snow will both be rereads but that’s because I love them both so much!
