When Mimi Lee opens up her new pet grooming shop, Hollywoof, she's eager to provide her services. However, when her sister unknowingly gives her a telepathic cat, Marshmallow, her life takes a wild turn - beginning with exposing a local breeder for the mistreatment of dogs! When the breeder is found dead, Mimi is placed at the top of the suspect list. She must prove her innocence - otherwise, she can kiss her Hollywoof dreams goodbye.

I've reached full circle with the Mimi Lee series! I'm actually glad I accidentally read the books backwards (this is #1, somehow I started with #3 lol). It was so much fun seeing how the dynamics of relationships in the later books were formed. Plus, seeing her humble beginnings made me proud of how far she's come! 💫

𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙!

Mimi's reaction to Marshmallow being telepathic was precisely what I envisioned - confused & startled but soon fond of his commentary. I just love him!

Russ really was a monster for mistreating those dogs! Call me cruel, but I wasn't too devastated when he died. 🙄…
