The first time I tasted pineapple fried rice was in a Malaysian restaurant. A combination of savory and sweet, it got a thumbs up from adults and kids. But the pineapple bowl itself was so impressive that I’d order it on esthetics alone!
I’m getting ready to make fried rice right now! Didn’t think about adding pineapple, but we all love it, so, next time! Thanks for the interesting pineapple facts- didn’t know most of them.
Yummy! Try out the pineapple next time. I’ve heard you can actually grow them from a cutting–but it takes many years to sprout fruit.
