Foodie Friday: DIY Boba
Okay, as you well know, I'm a fan of boba. (See this previous post for my explanation and to watch the Bobalife video!) Anyway, there are now chains popping up with an all-you-can-eat style. That means you pick a tea and add whatever ingredients you want. You can go crazy with bobas, jellies, puddings, etc. My plan of action was to choose, say, three ingredients at the most. Pudding: topping option for tea I think you're all familiar with bubble tea, which typically consists of milk tea with boba (even giant boba sometimes!). Anyway, it's definitely a nice drink to have for cooling down. Usually I'm good with a plain iced jasmine tea, or I might splurge on tapioca pearls or lychee jellies. "Consider your impressions; follow them once in a while." Sometimes you can't plan for things. On the way back from a road trip this weekend, I stumbled upon Ding Tea. (They had me at the words: Taiwanese tea house.) Apparently, their tea leaves come from the central mountains of Taiwan, so you can expect a high quality drink.
